About Me

A Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Executive Teacher and School Leader. I am passionate about coaching and guiding others toward their full potential. It is deeply motivating to me to know that I am making a difference in people’s lives, and I wake up every morning invigorated to push myself for your benefit.

I have experience true challenges in my own life, struggling with a difficult upbringing and losing my mother when I was only 21. In my late 20’s it came time to end a lifelong toxic relationship with my father. Following this, came the realisation that I needed to think differently and and this was the beginning of my journey to create lasting change.

 

To further complicate a life built on stress and grief, I grew ill following a trip to Morocco in 2011. After that, I started to research nutrition and gut health, which has remained a central interest of mine for seven years. In 2017, I learned that I joined the other 1 in 6 women who faced fertility challenges. I have spent the past 2 years participating in ovulation induction and IVF in an attempt to conceive a child. In November 2018, I suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks. I am now so excited to be welcoming a little boy to our family in November, 2019.

 

             

 

To overcome such heavy weight on my shoulders, I decided to launch my own Happiness Project and blog ‘Happiless’ in 2017. This lead to my pursuit to become a health and wellness coach, beginning my studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2018.  Today, I am proud to help others through the challenges and struggles that they face, drawing on my own history as reference for cultivating better health and a better sense of wellbeing.

 

Because I believe coaching is a valuable tool for success, I have received nutritional coaching from Stephanie Person a Los Angeles, USA based Ketogenic, Paleo and Lifestyle Coach and have an ongoing coaching partnership with a Tony Robbins Results Coach and business strategist, Andreja Cavnik.

The difference between health coach and a doctor/nutritionist…

A very important thing to note is that a health coach is NOT a doctor or nutritionist. Sure, an experienced and well-read health coach may know a lot but they are not in a position to diagnose you. They may have their ideas, but should work alongside health professionals or be used as a preventative measure for some health problems, not as the be all and end all. Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches know how to live in a healthy manner, incorporate health foods and exercise, and help people find balance.

 

Who needs a health coach?

A health coach can benefit anyone. If you feel as though your health isn’t optimal physically, mentally and/or emotionally,  a health coach is a great partner and team mate to have.
